Hello.

You are a human. Being a human is hard.

We have to procure food and shelter, persuade other humans to sleep with us, and the parking situation is a nightmare. On top of that, we also have to get along with a bunch of mostly annoying strangers so we don’t end up exploding the planet. Oh, and find wisdom, meaning, purpose and all that other nonsense.

The good news is that our challenges today aren’t so different from those faced by every other human. From our earliest ancestors to future humanoids, we are all looking for answers to the same questions - the 10 Questions of human existence. Whether we know it or not, every little thing we do is our answer to one of these questions.

My philosophical project, which I carry on mostly on my podcast, is to explore these 10 Questions, and how our greatest thinkers, finders and creators have attempted to answer them. By looking at how humanity’s greatest minds have grappled with the 10 Questions of Human Existence, we can look for our own answers, and perhaps take a little step closer to wisdom (whatever the hell that might be).

On Substack I plan to complement my work on the podcast by providing socio-philosophical commentary on cultural issues and other bullshit, and explore what it means to be human.
